Entel Connects North & South Humber

Burtons Foods, the blue chip company best known for the choc chips in its Maryland Cookies, is the latest high profile company to invest in Entel's series 2.0 entry level HX400 radios. For over 70 years, the company has been baking great tasting biscuits, but while the world and the way we live may have changed beyond all recognition during that time, the company has had an uncanny knack of spotting a product with longevity in its DNA. Their famous Jammie Dodger biscuit has been around since 1960, their Maryland Cookies since 1956. The Wagon Wheel biscuit is even older, first produced in 1948.

Latvian Railways On The Right Track With Entel's HX400
The Latvian Railway company, LDz, has switched to Entel for its latest radio procurement, after being introduced to the Entel HX400 by Modis Ltd - a Riga-based radio dealership. As part of an upgrade to the system's communications infrastructure, Latvian Railways had originally insisted on another leading, quality brand in its tender document, but Modis's confidence in the HX400 persuaded Latvian Railways to consider the proven HX400 series alongside their original preferred choice of hand portable.

Mactan Cebu International Airport
Entel has been selected to supply Mactan Cebu International airport in the Philippines with its prestigious HT723 radios. The airport is managed by GMCAC, a consortium between one of the Philippines' leading construction firms, Megawide Corporation and India's GMR Group, a world renowned infrastructure developer with an excellent track record of transforming airports into exciting, efficient award winning airports in India and overseas. The consortium has been formed to manage and develop the Mactan Cebu airport for the next 25 years, under the Philippine government's Public Private Partnership program.

Egyptian Air Industry Adopts Entel
Egyptec Communications, a Cairo–based dealership, has won the contract to supply Entel portables into Cairo Airport, which is operated by the Egyptian Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation (EHCAAN). By transforming Cairo into the hub of the region’s passenger and cargo traffic, the capital city’s main airport has seen a three–fold expansion in recent years, with projected air traffic expected to grow 25% or more by 2012.
