Posted on July 01, 2006
The Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoSH) directive, introduced on July 1st 2006, is now a legal requirement. The RoSH directive restricts the use of certain substances in electrical and electronic products, including lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) or polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE). Entel have been working with their factory to ensure that products sold by Entel and manufactured after July 1st 2006 are fully compliant.
