Renewables giant Valero recommits to Entel with DT985 at Pembrokeshire site
Leading renewable fuels producer Valero had used Entel Atex radios at its Pembrokeshire oil terminal for over a decade. The company, continuously impressed by the product’s exceptional build quality and Entel’s reliable, problem-free communications, decided the time was right to migrate to digital radio technology. Entel’s DT985 provided it with the perfect upgrade.
Valero’s terminal is one of the largest petroleum storage facilities in the UK and has 8.5 million barrels of storage capacity for products and feedstocks in 53 storage tanks.
Entel dealer Integrated Radio Systems recommended the rugged and submersible Entel DT985 Atex radio for migration from an analogue to a digital radio system. The Entel Atex radios have proven reliability and excellent performance in this demanding industrial environment.
