Entel’s extensive knowledge and experience in the Maritime Intrinsically Safe market ensures the DX-IS radios deliver the very best in performance, ruggedness, reliability, features and value for money.

All aspects of the DX-IS Series have been meticulously designed to help the user – everything from operating in high-noise environments, extreme temperatures, varying light conditions, poor visibility and the damaging effects of corrosive sea water, through to heavy-handed and gloved-hand use.
The DX-IX Series’ programmable voice annunciation feature is an additional benefit, announcing the Marine channel number, e.g. 10, 16, 77… or the switch position, e.g. 1, 2, 3… etc. This is a particularly helpful feature on non-display models, as it provides assurance the correct channel has been selected, allowing operators to focus on the task in hand.
The UHF DX-IS radios offer both DMR digital and Analogue modes of operation. The analogue mode allows for backwards compatibility with any existing analogue radios on board as well as a simple migration path to the benefits of digital communications.
Entel’s free, user-friendly, reprograming PC App is another key feature. It allows anyone to easily re-program or update their DX-IS radios whilst still on-board. This unique, simple-to-use PC app enables non-technical personnel to effortlessly drag and drop a new programming file from an email and program it into a DX-IS radio.
Each radio is supplied as standard with a high capacity Li-Ion battery pack, drop-in rapid charger, belt clip, high-efficiency antenna and quick-start user guide.
