Romania's Professional Lifeguards Association chooses Entel HT782
In July 2009, the Romanian Coastal Rescue Services took the decision to upgrade their lifeguard services to EU standards, coordinating their activities nationwide in order to help develop the country's tourism.
As part of this commitment to improving visitor safety, the 13 statutory bodies involved in the decision, including the border police and the emergency planning authorities, decided to standardise on the Entel HT782 submersible radio for their two-way radio communications.
The HT782, with its unique IP68 submersibility rating (5 metres depth for up to 1 hour), its Mil-Std 810 CDE&F commercial grade construction and its Lithium-Ion battery technology, is fast becoming the standard for those who will not compromise on build quality and durability in marine environments.
Provided via Romkatel, a leading Romanian radio dealership in Bucharest, the Entel HT782 will be distributed to professional divers and lifeguard associations along the entire length of the country's Black Sea coast in time for the 2010 influx of tourists this summer.
